Angela
Geer
She's ba-ack! After a short hiatus, Angela returns to
Cabaret to sing her backside off for you tonight. It's hard to believe but
Angela was around during the 60's and 70's and could frequently be found singing
along with these songs with her built-in 8-Track player in her 1974 Plymouth
Duster! Jealous? You may have seen her in our production of Cabaret, Gone
Country this past Spring, remember her from one of two sold out
runs of Menopaus-A-Palooza, or one of the past Christmas shows here.
Angela has won numerous Mary Jane Tealle Theatre Awards for her work throughout
Wichita and several productions here at Cabaret. She would like to thank
Christi, Kevin and Kyle for being such an awesome cast to sing with. Though
performing is one of Angela's passions, her absolute favorite passion is her 6
year old goddaughter, Leah. Auntie loves you! As always, Angela's heart and
inspiration comes from her mother who she knows is watching. Thanks for coming,
enjoy the show.
Christi
Moore
After
a few months of just being “the boss“, Christi is excited to be back on stage
for Jukebox: Hits of 60’s & 70’s. She loves performing music that’s
‘outta sight’ with this ‘cherry’ band and ‘groovy’ cast. Christi has been seen
as Marge in SUDS, Velma Von Tussell in Hairspray, and Sr. Mary
Hubert in Nunsense (her mother‘s personal favorite). Since taking over
the theatre in 2005, Christi has directed 13 of the 14 shows produced, performed
in 7, choreographed 5, and co written 8,- 6 of those with her friend and partner
Kyle. Number 7, Dig That Crazy Christmas Show! hits the Cabaret stage
later this year. Can you say Cruise vacation?! Love to Mark and her friends and
family that make life so much fun. She dedicates this performance to her
favorite High School Freshman, her son Michael. Go Steelers!
Kevin Pierce
Kevin
is happy to return to Cabaret Oldtown for Jukebox! He is enjoying this
music, which is odd, seeing as he wasn’t even born when it hit the air
waves…Audiences will remember him from Cabaret…Gone Country, Totally
Gnarley 80’s, and Route 66. His other favorite regional roles include
Younger Brother in Ragtime, Pinball Lad in Tommy, and Jinx in
Forever Plaid. Earlier this year he returned from Colorado where he
received rave reviews for his performance as Felix in The Odd Couple.
Kevin holds a BFA in Musical Theatre Performance from Wichita State University.
He would like to thank the “3 Fats” for all the fun times and sends his love to
Jane, Jon, Aunt Cecelia, and the parents.
Kyle
Vespestad
Kyle
is overjoyed to be performing here at Cabaret Oldtown and even happier to be
partnering, once again, with his great (and beautiful) friend, Christi on
Jukebox: Hits of the 60’s & 70’s. Kyle loves this music and is having
a blast singing it with such a fun and talented cast. He was last seen as Paul
in this year’s surprise hit, Married Alive! An Iowa native,
Kyle has enjoyed great success in Wichita since his arrival in 1995. His
very memorable roles include Brad in The Rocky Horror Show, Milt Dudman
in numerous productions here at Cabaret Oldtown and the title role in The
Gingerbread Man at Wichita Children’s Theatre, where he also directs and
choreographs many shows throughout the year. In his spare time, Kyle loves
spending time with his friends, (especially his best friend, Mark)…Pictionary
anyone? Lots of love to Bo, Knuckles, Stuart, Debbie, and of course, to his dad,
Elmer! Have fun!!!!
